That is why each and every day thousands of immigrants choose to make Canada their home. My family and I feel truly blessed to be Canadian, and for that reason, I want to give back to a country that has given me so much.
I am running as a Conservative in Brampton-Springdale because I support the strong leadership of Prime Minister Stephen Harper and the Conservative government. Prime Minister Harper understands the challenges our community faces, and is committed to providing a stronger, brighter future for our families and children. I am proud to be on Stephen Harper’s team here in Brampton-Springdale.
Brampton-Springdale is a diverse, vibrant community which faces both challenges and opportunities. The people of Brampton-Springdale need a representative who will fight for them at the government table and stand up for their interests in Ottawa. As a small business owner and a proud husband and father, I understand the needs and values of the people of Brampton-Springdale. I want to stand up for the values which attracted many newcomers to this great country in the first place. Keeping our community safe for our kids, lower taxes for families and family businesses, and keeping government accountable to the people who elected it – these are the things that Stephen Harper and our Conservative government have been pushing forward in Ottawa, and policies which I fully support as a Conservative candidate.
I am a strong believer in community involvement – in public service, and asking what I can do for my country, not what my country can do for me. I believe that the people we elect and send to Ottawa must uphold the finest qualities of our society – honesty, integrity, and accountability. At the end of the day, our representative in Ottawa must be someone who fights for you and your family – putting your needs first and working hard to get things done for Brampton-Springdale.
I look forward to meeting with you and hearing you and your family’s concerns – and after the next election, taking those concerns to our leaders in Ottawa and fighting for them at the government table.
Sincerely,
Parm GillConservative CandidateBrampton-Springdale
